John van der Oost Announced as Plenary Speaker John van der Oost is group leader of the Bacterial Genetics Groups in the Laboratory of Microbiology at Wageningen University. Professor van der Oost is considered pioneer of the “CRISPR revolution” for his fundamental work in the ground-breaking CRISPR-cas technique, and his group has founded methods to remove, add or alter specific genes with accuracy.   Earlybird selection of short talks from submitted abstracts. Outstanding abstracts will be selected for presentation as an Invited short talk earlier than the regular notification date. Deadline for Earlybird submissions: Friday 13th December.
