We highly recommend student members to engage as YLSA volunteers. Besides being exempt of membership fees, volunteers acquire new skills by actively organizing events for young life scientists. Thereby, YLSA volunteers receive first-hand insights in the Austrian job market and personal connections to life sciences companies.

* Memberships extend automatically from one year to the next. Memberships can be terminated at any time in writing to office@oegmbt.at. However, the membership fee for the current year must be paid.
If you are going on a sabbatical, abroad for work/studies or on maternity/paternity leave, then let us know beforehand – your membership fee will be waived for a maximum of 2 years.
