The Joint FEBS|EMBO Lecture Courses Special 2005–2025 Award

Since 2005 FEBS and EMBO have collaborated to co-fund the Joint FEBS|EMBO Lecture Courses. In 2025 both organizations celebrate the delivery of over 50 courses funded together and to mark the occasion, we arranged a Joint FEBS|EMBO Lecture Courses Special 2005–2025 Award. Organizers of joint course were invited to present an award certificate to an early-career participant giving a short talk or poster presentation from a project that shows the value of collaborative research.

We are delighted to introduce the awardees from the first two joint courses of 2025:

·       Indra Bekere, from Technical University of Munich, who attended the joint course “Cell biology of host–pathogen interactions” (Blois, France | 26–30 May 2025).

·       Darya Chernikova, from Institute of Science and Technology Austria, who attended the joint course “Physical Virology: across length scales” (Sant Feliu de Guixols, Spain | 1–6 June 2025).
