chaired by Sebastien Carpentier (KU Leuven, Belgium) and Ulrich Schurr (FzJ, Germany)

June 22nd to 24th, 2015 Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, Gatersleben (Germany)

This COST action is bringing together scientists involved in phenomics initiatives across the world, in systems biology research and interdisciplinary researchers. The final goal to bunch the expertise in the different areas to develop strategies about how to integrate different -omics areas (includingphenomics), how to use natural diversity for the identification of higher yielding, resistant and efficient crops in terms of adaptation to a changing climate and finally how to translate this into good practices for the applied end use.

The program includes 3 sessions:

Session 1: Novel sensors and sensor integration: from low tech to high tech (WG 1)

Session 2: Phenotyping the metabolome (WG2)

Keynote Lecture: Yves Gibon (INRA Bordeaux, France)

Session 3: From gene to phene: screening natural diversity (WG3)

Keynote Lecture: Andreas Graner (IPK)
