The scientific program of the GlycoT 2014 includes: 
Human Glycosyltransferases – Genes and functions; Glycosyltransferases in other organisms; Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation; Glycans in Development and Signaling; Glycosylation in Human Diseases; Glycobiology of Cancer; Glycobiology of Infectious Diseases and immunity; Glycotechnology, Glycomics and Glycoproteomics; and Novel strategies to probe functions of glycogenes.

The meeting will include plenary lectures of international speakers from all over the world.
The program will also include poster sessions as well as oral presentations selected from the submitted abstracts.

The GlycoT 2014 is going to be held in the city of Porto, Portugal. Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal, and one of the major urban areas in Southern Europe. Located along the Douro river estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European centers, and registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Geting to Porto is quite easy, the city has a state-of-the-art international airport with direct flights from several major airports in Europe and America.
