Following the success of two previous workshops the aim of it is to offer a cross-disciplinary platform, where key players of their field share experiences, challenges and solutions with early stage scientists (PhDs and postdocs). The meeting will also promote innovative thinking and integrative future collaborations through group projects. The scientific program will be complemented with cultural, sport and open-air activities (e.g., Knights’ Tournament, catamaran boat trip) allowing the participants to develop informal relationships as well as to discuss integrative scientific problems in groups.

The workshop will focus on experimental disease models (especially organoids), microbiome, multi-omics and modelling approaches around inflammation, infection and cancer. World-leading scientific and technology experts are confirmed as speakers (see their list below).

The combination of relaxing location, participative afternoon and evening sessions, and enthusiastic experts provides a great context for promoting collaboration, networking, and interdisciplinary learning and exploration of key questions in signaling.
