The Long Night of Research will take place on May 20, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. 
at over 250 exhibition locations across Austria. You can discover what is 
otherwise often hidden - with free admission: exciting, surprising, 
astonishing things! Experience research live!

With over 2,000 stations, guided tours, workshops, lectures, live presentations 
and experiments to watch, participate and be amazed, the Long Night of Research 
offers something for everyone.

Research is diverse: From society, environment and health to natural sciences, 
technology, energy, economy, digitization and culture, researchers present their 
achievements! This ranges from pre-scientific work in schools to cutting-edge research, 
from basic research to lead projects in application-oriented research or successful 
innovations from companies.
