Abstract Deadlines Approaching

The 6th International Meeting on Antimicrobial Peptides (IMAP 2016) will take place over 2 1/2 days in Leipzig, Germany in September 2016 and will build on the success of the previous five meetings. The meeting is hosted by the Centre for Biotechnology and Biomedicine (BBZ) of Leipzig University.

The abstract deadlines are:

Oral abstracts: May 15, 2016
Poster abstracts: May 31, 2016

Leipzig University is located in Leipzig in the Free State of Saxony, Germany, and is one of the oldest universities in the world and the second-oldest university in Germany.

There will be a full programme of talks and posters based around four main themes:

• Structure, Function & Design of AMPs
• Therapeutic Applications of AMPs
• Peptide Biomaterials & Peptide-Polymer Hybrids
• Immunomodulatory Aspects of AMPs

Satellite Meeting – Public BALI Conference

The Public BALI Conference takes place on the afternoon before IMAP 2016 in the same location.
The presentations will focus - not exclusively – on biofilm formation, prevention and killing.
IMAP participants are eligible to attend this conference and present their posters without any additional fee.
