Characterization of selected peptides and identification of their antimicrobial activity
Studies on the influence of anticoagulants on the bioactivity of endotoxins
Development of microbiological in-vitro models to test antimicrobial peptides
Your profile
Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in the field of biochemistry, biotechnology, biology or a related discipline
Experience in general biomedical laboratory work and in microbiological work
Excellent command of spoken and written English (at least C1)
German language skills are desirable
Your perspective
Position as PhD-student (Regenerative Medicine), initially limited for 3 years and EUR 2,918.71 minimum gross monthly salary (on a 38.5 hours/week basis) according to the Work and Remuneration Regulations of Danube University Krems (W3/1)
Close collaboration with partners at Campus Krems (position will be shared 60:40 between Danube University Krems and Karl Landsteiner University within a joint research project)
