Drug Delivery Device Testing Analytical Expert (m/f/d), 80-100%, Device Development, Schaftenau, Österreich


Your Responsibilities
• Actively participate in device development project teams as analytical team representative.
• Design, plan and perform laboratory functional testing of medical devices and drug combination products, spanning from vials and syringes, to pens, autoinjectors and smart connected devices, measuring key parameters like forces, injection times, dose accuracy, device physical dimensions, weights, sound characterizations.
• Contribute with expertise in analytical testing in areas like product characterization, design verification, method development and validation, or participating in root cause investigations for complaints or OOx.
• Lead qualification of analytical equipment, preparation of qualification documents.
• Write / review of lab related SOPs, test methods, method validation and transfer documents, test protocols and reports.
• Interact / collaborate with other functions in TRD to facilitate transfer of knowledge and issue of deliverables.


What you’ll bring to the role
• Bachelor’s, Master or PhD degree in engineering or natural sciences.
• Several years of experience working in a laboratory, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical area.
• Strong interest in the multidisciplinary area of medical devices and combination products.
• Leading and influencing in global matrix organization; strong communication / negotiation skills & listener, actively reaching out, able to understand and connect across functions.
• Excellent skills in English, verbal and written. Other language skills, e.g. French, German are advantageous.

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 46.525,22 / year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
