Position Overview

• Support the development of high-quality recombinant proteins through robust analytical and molecular approaches
• Advance characterization and quality control of proteins to enable reliable data for research and product development
• Strengthen and expand the current protein analytics workflows and quality control

Tasks

• Perform protein expression, purification, and analytical characterization (e.g., SDS-PAGE, Western blot, SEC, HPLC, BLI/SPR, ELISA, etc.)
• Conduct standard molecular biology techniques (e.g., cloning, PCR, DNA preparation, cell transfection)
• Support the design and optimization of antibody expression and purification workflows in mammalian systems
• Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings to project teams
• Maintain accurate experimental records and contribute to the development of laboratory protocols
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in protein engineering and assay development

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in protein biochemistry or protein analytics
• Proven experience with standard molecular biology methods
• Experience with mammalian-expressed antibodies or recombinant proteins is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Open to new projects and tasks

Salary

According to the collective agreement, the minimum gross monthly salary is €3,300 (full-time, 40h/week, 14x/year). Overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.
