POSITIONS
The PhD Programs "Molecular Medicine” (Medical University of Graz) and "Metabolic regulation of healthy ageing",
(University of Graz, Medical University of Vienna and Medical University of Graz) offer 27 PhD positions with a
special focus on age-related diseases, immunology, lipid metabolism, cardiovascular research and biostatistics. As a
PhD student, you will be embedded in an interdisciplinary community of supervisors, fellow students and
administrative support. PhD students receive a 3-year contract (1 initial year + 2 years extension) including a
competitive salary and social benefits. The possibility of a contract extension for 1 year (4th year) may be possible
upon successful completion of a research stay abroad.
