Your Responsibilities

The Schanda group uses nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, which they combine with a host of other biophysical, biochemical, in-silico and in-vivo methods. The group spans activities from nuclear spin dynamics and biophysics to challenging biological problems. We are looking for an experienced and well-organized team member for protein production, purification and laboratory management:

  • Implementing and optimizing new protein production protocols
  • Documentation and setup of protocols
  • Producing protein samples (E. coli; cell-free; possibly yeast) for other group members, including isotope-labeled samples (2H, 13C, 15N, 19F)
