RESPONSIBILITIES

● Engineering of microorganisms for heterologous protein expression

● Cloning of plasmids for strain engineering

● Maintaining and organising cell banks

● Preparing buffers and media

● Recording experimental protocols and data accurately in an electronic lab notebook

ABOUT YOU

● Education in a relevant field (biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry) with minimum ofat least 2 years experience in a wet-lab experiencecx

● Experience in standard cloning techniques is desirable

● Familiarity with cell banking workflows

● A superior command of English

● You should be accustomed to networked, critical, and analytical thinking, be scientifically interested and be able to work in a team respecting tight project timelines

● Residing in Vienna, Austria, or willing to relocate

● Available to start immediately or no later than January 2023
