The St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute (CCRI), Austria, has joined forces with the
Medical University of Vienna (MUW) and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences
(BOKU) to track the development of pediatric bone sarcomas using developmental and trans-
species genomics in a project funded by an international organization.

The interdisciplinary project consortium is based in Vienna. You will work in this consortium as a
Technical Specialist/Laboratory Assistant* in a team of 2 postdocs, 3 PhDs and 3 laboratory
assistants from the fields of developmental and computational biology, genomics and cell
culture of stem cells, helping to develop novel models for cancer research. A particular focus is
on establishing cell culture conditions that are as physiological as possible to mimic the
condition in vivo. To this end, various 3D cell culture techniques and reduced oxygen conditions
(hypoxia) are used.

If you would like to contribute to advancing preclinical therapy development for pediatric
sarcomas, we look forward to receiving your application!
