IHRE AUFGABEN

• Lead and direct the chemistry part of small molecule-based drug discovery projects
• Manage the according projects from HTS, target-validation, hit-to-lead through lead optimization, candidate selection, and preclinical characterisation
• Plan, design, and assess CMC characterisation studies
• Define RTPs and TPPs
• Lead and supervise collaborations and CROs
• Manage relevant meetings and report accordingly

IHR PROFIL

• PhD in synthetical chemistry
• At least five years of professional experience in the industry (Pharma or Biotech) in drug discovery
• Excellent knowledge of medicinal chemistry processes, drug design, synthetical approaches etc..
• Extensive knowledge of CMC/physicochemical methods and technologies for APIs
• Excellent communication skills, English language is a Must, German would be a plus
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to fast-changing situations
• Self-motivation and excellent self-guidance skills
