Your tasks

  • Laboratory-based research with focus on coagulation-promoting and immunomodulating properties of extracellular vesicles
  • Conception and acquisition of research projects at national and European level
  • Dissemination of research results via publications and conference presentations
  • Scientific exchange with collaborating research groups, with professional societies and with the scientific community
  • Co-supervision of PhD students and lecturing in the PhD program "Regenerative Medicine"
  • Support in method development in the context of the Core Facility Imaging.
  • Organizational and content-related participation in the organization of scientific symposia
  • Support in selected projects


Your profile

  • Completed university degree (doctorate/PhD) in the field of natural sciences (e.g.: biotechnology)
  • Several years of experience, preferably also international, in the field of biomedical research
  • Scientific visibility (e.g.: publications, patents, conference contributions)
  • Proven involvement in the acquisition of third-party funding
  • Relevant teaching experience and supervision of scientific work
  • Experience in the field of flow cytometry desirable
  • Experience in translation of research results into (clinical) research desirable
  • Excellent command of English (C2) and very good command of German (at least C1), both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a team, independence, flexibility


Your perspective

  • A full-time position (38.5 hours per week - flexible working hours) and EUR 3,400.00 minimum gross monthly salary of W3 Danube University Krems Work and Remuneration Regulations, Willingness to overpay for appropriate qualifications and professional experience
