Research Topic: We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow to join our lab. Our working group focuses on the role of immune cells in tumours as well as host-pathogen interactions. The candidate will be part of the Horejs-Höck lab, which currently consist of 10 lab members. The project will focus on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), with a special interest on the role of inflammasomes in disease progression.

Qualifications: The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for designing and performing their own experiments as well as for supervision of PhD and master students. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in tumour immunology, murine in vivo models of blood cancers, use of immortalized cell lines, flow cytometry as well as analysing patient material. Any experiences in single-cell analysis (e.g. CyTOF and RNAseq), computational biology or bioinformatics is beneficial, but not required for this position. The applicant should have a strong track record of productivity and an ability to work independently. The Postdoctoral Fellow should also be able to collaborate with others and function as a member of a research team.

We offer a full time post-doctoral position for 2 years with the possibility of extension.
