Postdoc position available in the research group of Hesso Farhan at the Biocenter, Medical University of Innsbruck (Austria). The position is available for a period of 30 months and starts no later than 01.02.2021. The postdoctoral fellow will work on the regulation of endoplasmic reticulum proteostasis and its regulation in multiple myeloma

Qualifications for the postdoc position:

1- The candidate must have a PhD in biology, medicine or a related discipline.

2- Candidates will be preferred who have experience in fluorescence microscopy techniques, in particular confocal imaging and live cell microscopy.

3- Experience in any of the following areas is essential: Proteostasis, Unfolded Protein Response, Export from the Endoplasmic Reticulum.

4- At least one publication as first author in an international peer-reviewed journal is required

5- Very strong command of English, because the candidate will work in an international team and English is the main language spoken.

The postdoctoral fellow should be able to work independently, while at the same time engage in close collaborations. Emphasis will be attributed to teamworking abilities and personal skills.
