Call for Applications

for Postdoc and PhD Positions within the Special Research Program (SFB) “Tomography across the scales” at the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology, the Medical University of Vienna, the University of Linz, the Johann Radon Institute of Computational and Applied Mathematics and the Medical University of Innsbruck.

We invite applications for six doctoral and six postdoc positions in Applied Mathematics, Bio-, Medical-, and Transclinical Physics. We are looking for ambitious PhD students holding a master degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Biosciences and motivated Postdoc researchers holding a PhD in the areas mentioned above or in closely related fields.

The positions are based on regular working contracts including social security, starting from March 2018. Remuneration is based on the salary scheme of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).

  • filled application form,
  • the curriculum vitae,
  • copies of a master, PhD certificate, or equivalent,
  • a study track record,
  • optional: recommendation letters,
